On June 23 Coordinator of the project «Chair Jean Monnet. European Diplomacy» Zhanar Medeubaeva made a presentation on the theme “Problems of Migration Management in Kazakhstan: EU Assistance» during the International Summer Online School «Immigration and Transnationalism: EU Experience», organized within the framework of the project «Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for the Development of European Studies» of the Uzhgorod National University (Ukraine).
In her report, she shared her vision of the migration situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the problems of managing it in the context of the growing internal and external security challenges of the country as a whole. Analyzing the assistance of the European Union to the management of migration in the Republic, she noted the important contribution of the EU to the settlement of urgent problems of migration not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the entire region of Central Asia.
