An online meeting of the “Friends of Europe” club devoted to Europe Day was held on May 6 through the Zoom platform. During the meeting members of the project team “Jean Monnet Сhair. European diplomacy ”, members of the “Friends of Europe” club, the students discussed the current state of the EU, the problem of its reformation in the light of recent events and trends in Europe and at the world stage.
Member of the project team, visiting professor at the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov ENU Kamen Velichkov has made a report on the topic: “The upcoming reformation of the EU and its possible impact on international politics.” Project coordinator Medeubaeva Zh.M., members of the project team Professor Tashtemkhanova R.M., Zhanbulatova R.S. shared their views on this issue.
Club President, the master student Tahir Nigmanov expressed his opinion on the EU’s prospects for reform and expansion.
The club meeting is held at the beginning of each month and it is open to all who wish to attend.
