Conference on the topic “30-year frontier of Europe. The end of the cold war. New challenges and prospects for the coexistence of ethnic groups ”

Representation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation invites you to participate in a conference on the topic “30-year-old frontier of Europe. The end of the cold war. New Challenges and Prospects for the Coexistence of Ethnic Groups ”in Nur Sultan on November 9, 2019, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Public Foundation “Kazakhstan Association of Germans” Renaissance “and with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kazakhstan.

The conference will be attended by Frank Priss, Deputy Head of the Department of European and International Cooperation, under whose leadership there are 107 representative offices of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kazakhstan around the world, Hartmut Koshik, ex. Commissioner of the Federal Government for Migrants and National Minorities and other high-ranking representatives of Kazakhstan, Germany and other countries.

Within the framework of the conference, two panel discussions are planned on the topics: “The end of the Cold War. The new order in Europe and its consequences ”and“ Interethnic issues after the fall of the Iron Curtain and the end of the Cold War. ”
